The Propolis is a 5-inch, 250 mm True X quadcopter frame designed for rapid prototyping, testing, and hard use. Manufactured in the USA, its modular architecture uses individually replaceable arms, allowing damaged components to be swapped without replacing the entire frame. The primary structure is machined from 6061 and 7075 aluminum, with a dedicated neoprene vibration-isolation layer incorporated between structural sections. This isolates the main electronics stack from vibration generated by the motors and airframe while maintaining a rigid overall structure. The complete frame weighs approximately 187 grams with fasteners. The modular aluminum construction also significantly reduces the cost of manufacturing prototypes and replacement components compared with the custom carbon-fiber version developed for the same platform.
